It's been wonderfully, unseasonably warm here this weekend, and I was so happy to ditch my tights! The only downside is that the quick temperature change has made our our toilet (yes) collect condensation like nobody's business and drip all over the bathroom. So glamorous. A small price to pay, right?

I'd love to hear about your weekend! Head to Fine Linen and Purple for more Mass outfit inspiration!

Love it! That's a good point about the blue oxford- I always wear a white one and it gets boring fast. The boots are so cute, and I love how you paired a lace skirt w/ a casual shirt.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteThat skirt is just divine! You're always a favorite for me- pulled together but still fun :-)
ReplyDeleteYou flatter me so. Thank you, Kinsi!
DeleteSuper cute! I love everything about this outfit.
ReplyDeleteJiza, thank you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend =)
DeleteI love absolutely everything about this outfit - the cute booties, the necklace, the detail on the skirt. Love, love, love!
ReplyDeleteStop! Thank you, Beth!!
DeleteStephanie, you look amazing! I always love how you mix your pieces...classy but always fun too. The necklace is a great pop of color, the skirt divine, and you've convinced me that I must branch out of my safe white shirts. And the booties - so cute without tights too!
ReplyDeleteI owe the boots to you! You inspired me with all your oh so cute ankle boot looks and I decided a needed a pair for myself! Seriously. It feels like a departure from my nice, safe preppy staples, but I've loved wearing them so far!
DeleteBlue is your color and you ROCK it! The skirt is super classy, which is just awesome! Hope your weekend has been wonderful (minus the leaky toilet!) =)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I would just like to clarify that it is only an exterior drip, not a leak...not so fun when I go in the bathroom with bare feet, but much less panic-inducing =)
DeleteLove the necklace!! And that skirt is so fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika =)
DeleteYou look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSince you have Oxford shirt knowledge, where do you suggest getting a nice one that fits well? I know my husband loves that look, but I have a hard time finding something I like.
The necklace is awesome too!
I have wayyy more oxfords than I should reasonably admit to, but my favorites are a slim-cut style by Ralph Lauren. The slim style, as opposed to another one they have called the classic, has princess seams that give you a really flattering shape. You can get them for pretty decent prices at their outlets!
DeleteAs always! Love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Sarah!
DeleteIt is such a good thing I don't know where you live because I would be constantly raiding your closet. You look fab! I love EVERYTHING about this look. I'm trying to pick a favorite and can't. You're too cute!
ReplyDeleteYes, but that would be a good thing, because then I could raid yours! Thank you so much!
DeleteYou look so cute! I love everything about your outfit. Buying oxfords on my next shopping trip. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a worthy shopping trip! Thanks for reading, Francine!
DeleteYou make it all look cute. Forever 21, huh? Maybe I'll have to shop their online sale. Such a great outfit!
ReplyDeleteI know, can you believe it? Until a few years ago, I never realized how cute their clothes and jewelry have gotten!
DeleteYou're so flippin' cute!!! And I'm super excited because I've recently fallen in love with wearing button-downs to work but always feel like they're missing something...and now I know! Such a cute necklace and I'm off to subscribe cause your style is fab :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so good! Thank you, Morgan!
DeleteOk, this is my first time here, and as soon as I clicked in and saw your blog, I said to my hubs, "someone is preppy!" (which is a very good thing in my book). Congrats on being my new style icon. Going to Forever 21 now and getting that necklace.
ReplyDeleteSo, so glad you found my blog, Jenna! We must be pages from the same book =)
DeleteLOVE! LOVE! LOVE! The color combo, the mixture of textures and patterns, just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Mary!
DeleteLove the necklace!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Hope you had a fantastic weekend, Mandi!
DeleteYou look fantastic, the color combinations the necklace.. you look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI seriously cannot deal with all of this affirmation...thank you so much, Andrea!
DeleteLove, love, love the lace detail on the skirt! You always look amazing, Stephanie! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet! Thank you!
DeleteLove that skirt, they are comfy I agree!
ReplyDeleteSo true! Thank you!
DeleteWhat a fun skirt and necklace! I love chambray shirts but my husband isn't a fan for some reason.
ReplyDeleteYou are a better wife than I...when my husband makes fun of things I love, like my hot pink tights (which are, admittedly, a little out there I suppose), I just wear them anyway =)
DeleteMakes me want to rock my blue button down!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading, Jules!
