What I Wore Sunday, Volume 7: Rejoice!

Gaudete!  Happy third Sunday of Advent!  A few months ago, my husband and I bought our first ugly Christmas sweaters, but now that the season's actually upon us, I'm enjoying putting together festive outfits in at least a slightly classier way.

Tartan and a little sparkle are my favorite ways to put myself in an anticipatory, holiday state of mind without looking like a Christmas tree--what are yours?

Oxford, American Eagle.  Cardigan, Gap.  Pants, Target.  Glitter pumps, Steve Madden.  Pearl necklace, DIY.

    1. Thank you!! For some reason, I don't feel like non-holiday seasons are as timely for breaking out the sparkle, so I've been trying to wear these as much as possible!

  5. I always appreciate a tartan plaid, and yours is paired perfectly. I clicked over to your Christmas sweater post. His works, yours isn't ugly enough, no one would get it! Have yall worn them to any parties yet?

    1. Don't worry, I got another, much uglier one! It's bright blue with teddy bears and weighs probably 4 pounds, thanks to tons of beads and fake pearls. We wore them to a dinner party a few weeks ago, but didn't plan ahead...we needed to run some errands afterwards and didn't wear coats, and thus I found myself in the middle of WalMart, bears on full display =)

    1. Thank you; everything else in my outfit is a few years old, but the pants are brand new! I was happy to find some that weren't too Christmas-y green, you know?!
